Lemonade Scones

So you're going to Nan's house, and don't know what to take?
Time to whip up some 5-ingredient, mega delish and slightly wholesome Lemonade Scones, topped with our Drunken Sailor Strawberry Rose jam.
Sweet, a little fancy, and guaranteed to make you look like you’ve got it all together (even if ya don’t)!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1x Drunken Sailor Strawberry Rose jam
- 3 cups Self-Raising flour
- Cream - 1 cup for the scone recipe, then we'll use the rest to whip up for topping
- 1 cup Lemonade
- Pinch of Kosher salt
METHOD:
- Pre-heat the oven to 220 deg.
- In a large mixing bowl, measure out 3 cups of flour
- Add 1 cup of pure cream to this
- Now add 1 cup of lemonade
- Mix altogether
- Flour your surface and then knead your dough for a few minutes
- Roll the dough out to about 3cm thickness
- Using a round cutter about 6cm in diameter, cut the dough into shapes and pop onto the baking tin
- Lightly dust the top of the scones with flour, and pop them into the oven for 15-20 minutes
- Whilst scones are baking, whip the leftover cream with an electric whisk for the topping
- Once scones have a light brown colour to them, take them out of the oven and leave to cool
- Now it's times to EAT!
- Spread a load of our Drunken Sailor Strawberry Rose jam onto the cut-in-half scone, and dollop with the whipped cream.
REMEMBER, it's jam THEN cream on the scone!
