Lemonade Scones

So you're going to Nan's house, and don't know what to take?

Time to whip up some 5-ingredient, mega delish and slightly wholesome Lemonade Scones, topped with our Drunken Sailor Strawberry Rose jam.

Sweet, a little fancy, and guaranteed to make you look like you’ve got it all together (even if ya don’t)!


INGREDIENTS:

METHOD:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 220 deg.
  • In a large mixing bowl, measure out 3 cups of flour
  • Add 1 cup of pure cream to this 
  • Now add 1 cup of lemonade
  • Mix altogether
  • Flour your surface and then knead your dough for a few minutes
  • Roll the dough out to about 3cm thickness
  • Using a round cutter about 6cm in diameter, cut the dough into shapes and pop onto the baking tin
  • Lightly dust the top of the scones with flour, and pop them into the oven for 15-20 minutes
  • Whilst scones are baking, whip the leftover cream with an electric whisk for the topping
  • Once scones have a light brown colour to them, take them out of the oven and leave to cool 
  • Now it's times to EAT!
  • Spread a load of our  Drunken Sailor Strawberry Rose jam onto the cut-in-half scone, and dollop with the whipped cream. 

REMEMBER, it's jam THEN cream on the scone!
